LRT-1 private operator Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC), in partnership with No. 1 digital banking app Maya, launch today a groundbreaking milestone in the modernization of railway transportation in the Philippines with the implementation of LRT-1 QR Ticketing system.
Commuters can now conveniently purchase their single journey LRT-1 QR ticket using the LRMC’s ikotMNL app, a first-of-its-kind in the Philippine railway industry that empowers commuters with better access to train information, and the Maya app by scanning the generated QR ticket at the dedicated QR terminals located at all LRT-1 Stations — making the process quick, seamless, and hassle-free.
“The LRT-1 QR Ticketing project marks a significant milestone in public transportation, where everyone can enjoy faster, safer, and more convenient digital transactions.
