In a bid to make commuting more convenient and seamless, LRT-1 private operator Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC), in partnership with AF Payments, Inc. (AFPI), announced today the pilot implementation of LRT-1 merchants as new channels for beep™ payment and loading services.
LRT-1 private operator Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC) further beefs up its partnership with Binhi English Literacy Foundation, a non-profit and non-governmental organization, as it engaged its partner companies Alstom and Bouygues in supporting more classes for its advocacy of nation-building through quality education.
In order to complete the necessary works for the upgrade of its existing signalling system, private operator and maintenance provider Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC) is announcing a temporary suspension of LRT-1 operations on 28 November 2021, 23 January 2022, and 30 January 2022 (Sunday).
Private operator of LRT-1 Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC) recently presented proof of concept for its QR Ticketing Project, together with AF Payments Inc (AFPI), to the Department of Transportation (DOTr) and the Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA). This initiative is to support the company’s digitalization strategy and boost its Tap2Ride contactless commuting campaign as a safer way to travel.

70% passenger capacity beginning November 4
